Greetings all! Aside from digging into the new manga, let's take a trip down memory lane. If you visit regularly, you already know that the top website banner switches every week or so. Also, clicking on the banner brings you to the specific anime.
Can you believe that it's already been a year since this banner was put up?

As 2008 draws to a close and 2009 is just around the corner, we at A-S wish you all a joyous (and reasonably sober) New Year! Hurray! Fireworks! And make sure the goat wipes its feet!
It's still a bit early, (or a little bit late, depending on where you're from) but the manga team here at A-S would like to start off the year by doing what we do best: release manga on Anime-source.
What goodies are we handing out this time? Just hit the jump and celebrate the New Year with us to find out!

Hey all. I hope everyone is having some Happy Holidays. It's about time to brainstorm some New Year Resolutions- any luck with that?
It's been some time since the last "What's New" update and thus we have some massive entries for this post. Many articles, blurbs, and updates to be announced. Most importantly, Primrose has lovingly volunteered to help us A-S out. Where? Giving you the latest updates on new DVD Releases, that's where.
There are many ways to help us out; while browsing the behind-the-scenes updates to Anime-Source, you can find out how by Reading More.

DVD Releases Archive - REVIVED!
Posted by xenocrisis0153 on Thursday, December 25th 2008 |

It is probably just slightly too late to amend your Christmas wishlists now, but chances are you will be getting a little bit of holiday money to spend... all thanks to confused distant relatives who have no idea what your hobbies and interests are and find it a trillion times easier just to write you a nice little check. So what should you spend your money on? Anime, of course!
Last summer, we hosted a DVD Releases calendar. The staffer in charge of that disappeared, leaving a huge gap in our archives. Now, someone new has stepped up to spread the word of what's new in the market. Everyone, please welcome Primrose to the staff as your new DVD Release Staffer.

 It's not that kind!
It's that time of the year, when people give each other gifts and stuff. And, well, why shouldn't our visitors get one too? And why don't we give them three instead of a measly one? Well, that was the idea anyway. And so, here you have it, people! Something for users and non-users, passers-by or regular visitors. What are these? Read more to find out!
On behalf of the A-S Staff, I also take this chance to with you all happy holidays! Have some fun and enjoy them!

The latest installment in my series educating the anime/manga-fans out there about the realities of living in Japan. This month, we're talking about money and how far a couple hundred thousand yen will get you. Don't get too excited though... it may sound like a lot... until you realize that one yen is only equal to about one US penny.
