Hey all,
'Tis I, your not-so-local gaijin nerd-boy lost in the mountains of Japan; Xeno-sensei by day, Website Content Administrator xenocrisis0153 by night. I live where anime should dwell, but sadly does not. Err, well, it would if I had cable tv and a decent internet connection. Luckily I still have YouTube and a stash of streaming sites that still allows me to stay current. While I lack the capacity to take screenshots for articles and reviews, I can still do the next best thing... personalized Top 10 lists!!!
Probably won't be a regular thing as I am way too busy looking after the little ones of Japan (plus the blog keeps me busy), but every now and then, I can toss up one of these badboys (maybe the other staffers will be inspired to do their own, we'll see). To kick off, I'm going to present my Top 10 Favorite Anime Songs of the 2008-2009 Season; a listing of the songs I've enjoyed most over the last year.
Although I haven't been watching a lot in terms of series, I do manage to keep up with what's out there, especially when it comes to music. Each season I at least check out the OP/EDs posted on the internet to see what looks good and what belongs in my iPod. Using the extensive scientific method of measuring the "ratings" and "play counts" registered in my iTunes, I have come up with the following listing. Check it out, and feel free to comment with agreements/disagreements, as well as post your own favorites!
