Once upon a time, there was an American man who decided one day that he would become the Greatest Teacher in Japan. He didn't know where to actually apply for the title, so he just decided to write a blog on A-source.com and wait for the awards to be stuffed into his mailbox. So far no medals or certificates have arrived (but they're coming!!!), but winning the hearts of over 500 students is reward enough.
Did you know about this blog? It's reached over 300 entries. Are you a regular reader, an occassional lurker, or is this all news to you? Are most of you aware that xeno-sensei was "fired" by his company for being "too awesome for anyone to handle*" and now has been relocated to an entirely different part of the country?
Cuteness happens. Comedy happens. Drama happens. Put it all together, and it makes for one interesting tale. Read on for the quick update, plus a chart highlighting the major plot-points. Details on a new contest are laid out, and a bonus item is included as well.

A-S Banners of 2009

Hello all :)
Hopefully you all have celebrated the New Year well. With another year gone, that means that last years' banner archive has been completed! As you know, A-Source runs through many banners in a month. Normally a new banner is switched every week. The most appealing thing is that it's a new anime each time and clicking on the banner takes you right to its database~
Do any of you remember this banner?
The first banner for 2009 was submitted by trueline. To those that recognize this banner, we thank you for continually visiting A-S :) If you don't, I'm sure things will become more familiar as you run through the page :p

Welcome to the new server of Anime-Source

Quick news to inform you that we have now moved to the new server. Please report any bugs and errors you may encounter.
Please note that we lost a little bit of data when transitionning, especially in the forums, maybe or two days worth of data. While we can't retreive it now, please tell us what was lost.
Thank you all for your understanding and welcome to our "new-same-as-old" home.

A-Source moving to a new server location

This is a quick news to inform all of Anime-Source visitors that we will be moving to a new server on August 10th. What does this mean for you, the anime fan?
Since we are changing host after many years of loyal services, it means we will have to change our DNS information. This process takes between 12 and 72 hours to complete, and in the meantime, A-Source will be unavailable for you to access. As soon as he DNS information gets spread out to the various ISP around the world, you will be able to access our website again.
The good news is we'll have brand new, more powerful, cheaper, better home for you guys to access us on.
